As a high percentage of Vales work is on Listed or period buildings, it’s important to note that orangeries and conservatories can be built to suit any period of architecture, giving careful thought to the nature of the building, its size and the detail used within the build.
Beautiful additions can be created when the design, size and layout is given due consideration and then the appropriate detail applied.
Size of the new addition is extremely important – for example, a modest house would look out of place with an over sized conservatory, and similarly a larger property would need a more substantial structure to maintain a correct balance. Finding some existing detail on a house and mirroring this within the conservatory can make the new addition look as if it has always been there giving it a timeless quality.
Advances in glass technology combined with Vales unique roofing system, allows our orangeries and conservatories to be practical rooms which will withstand most climatic conditions around the world, and be suitable for any aspect of you house whether it be north, south, east or west. We have borrowed all the best features of original conservatories and orangeries, and we incorporate discreet modern innovations that make maintenance easier, reduce heating costs and facilitate ventilation without compromising on the overall balance of the design.
