Our conservatories are erected worldwide and consequently are subject to a wide variety of weather conditions with dramatic temperature changes and often high humidity. For this reason it is vital that correct fine quality timbers are used. Vale carry a wide range of timbers in stock to suit special requirements and finishes or customers' preferences - these include a variety of Oaks, Douglas Fir, Sapele, Brazilian Mahogany, Afromosia and Cedar. All our timbers are purchased from sustainable sources.

Traditional techniques in carpentry are strictly adopted in conjunction with the finest materials and authentic detail to produce a structurally sound building with a long life expectancy.

As each conservatory is individually made, the choice of window detail plays an important part in creating the character of the conservatory. All timber panel designs are made in the traditional proven way with mortice and tenon joints incorporating individual double glazed units.
